Red Bridge Board

The company board includes: Alice McGrath; Lisa Gillespie; Lucie Macaulay; Tessa Pepiette

Lisa Gillespie has over 20 years experience working in events, marketing, corporate sponsorship and now fundraising. Lisa has worked in both the public and private sectors in the fields of hospitality (5 star hotels and unique venues), tourism (VisitScotland), both the visual and performing arts (the National Galleries of Scotland and The Arches) and now Higher Education (Queen Margaret University and the University of Glasgow).  Lisa and Alice have known each other since they met at University in 1989.

It’s with great pleasure and pride that I take a place on the board of Red Bridge Arts. The company encapsulates everything I admire in Alice, both professionally and personally. To me Alice is creative, supportive, always helping others and always encouraging. Not to mention her mirth, loyalty and honesty. Being part of Red Bridge Arts I know will involve fun and laughter but most importantly the company will lead the way in nourishing new talent in the Arts in Scotland and beyond.

Lucie Macaulay lives overlooking the Red Bridge and is interested in community projects that improve local life by getting people together to enjoy themselves and make change. She is involved with running a community centre, a community garden, a coastal rowing club and a community-owned harbour. In between, she makes bags, toys and jewellery from bicycle inner tubes.

Tessa Peppiette
I have over 20 years experience in arts management, predominantly in the performing arts and most recently in the children and young people’s performing arts sector. I’ve been committed to supporting the delivery of high quality performing arts experiences throughout my career and I’m looking forward to continuing this role through my involvement with Red Bridge Arts.

I consider it an enormous privilege to have worked with so many talented and visionary people over the years and I’m proud to have played a role in creating such a vibrant and joyful arts scene here in Scotland. I’m continuing to work in the arts on a project basis whilst also indulging a passion for horticulture and looking after my family.
