Thank you for coming to see the show. Here’s some info about the work and please get in touch with any feedback.
We made Pekku in 2023 with ROHM theatre in Kyoto, Japan. We first presented the show there in July 2023 and then toured it around Japan in 2023 and again in 2024. Japanese children have loved the show and we thought it was high time children in Scotland had the chance to see it too. Thanks to funding from Made in Scotland that wish has come true.

Care for the environment
When we first made the show we used the Theatre Green Book to help us reduce our impact on the environment. This means we used less resources, recycling more, and controlled energy in all aspects of the production. The Green Book is an initiative of several theatre groups in the UK to work more sustainably. https://theatregreenbook.com/

As part of the Pekku project in 2023 we planted trees in a Trees for Life grove in Scotland to help reduce our impact on the environment, especially the carbon emissions used to fly us to Japan. Visit the Grove website here and if you fancy you can also plant a tree in it by donating to Trees for Life: https://treesforlife.org.uk/groves/460355/
